It's been a long time since I've posted in FD, but just wanted to update on a few recent short interviews, youtube video blurbage and short films.
First is with a brilliant teacher called Ian Clayton, from New Zealand. He taught a few seminars here on the glory realm, translocation, and the DNA of God. I was able to get twenty minutes interviewing him. Here's a taste.
I'm still working on a near-perfect short film on a Communion Service with John Crowder, my personal hero and some fundies would say, my personal idol. There's even an appearance by his cohort in crime, the pirate Dave Vaughan, from Big Brother fame.
I have helped start up a series for David Shadbolt on sort of a "Prophecy for Normal Adults." I was able to shoot a short iPhone conversation with Phyllis Tickle at the Greenbelt Fest. And, of course, my brutha George "Neo" Elerick and I continue to work together and here's a new channel of the films we've done.
All of that, plus I recently spent time with a preacher dude who I keep calling "Buddy" but his real name is Victor Robert Farrell . He preaches a Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God type of message, so it's not my kind of thing, but it should make an interesting, conflicting short.
All of these people I'd consider to be "God's crazy kids" (to paraphrase Bono). These films reflect a wide galaxy of theological viewpoints, liturgical practices and rituals. I guess if you got them all into one room, there'd be a lot of Ecstacy in the midst Battle-- which would make an even more interesting, larger film.
Now, there's an idea. Ecstatic Battle.
